Report on the outcome of the monitoring of the Web Accessibility Directive (2022-2024)
The Web Accessibility Directive (Directive (EU) 2016/2102) aims to ensure that public sector websites and mobile applications are accessible to all users, especially those with disabilities.
To assess compliance and gather insights on its effectiveness, Member States must provide detailed reports every three years. This reporting process helps the European Commission and the Member State monitor progress, evaluate the directive’s effectiveness, and guide future accessibility policies. The MCA is hereby publishing the Report on the outcome of the monitoring of the Web Accessibility Directive for the period from 1st January 2022 - 31st December 2024.
