Decision on the Source of funding for the net cost incurred in providing universal services during 2010

In December 2014, the MCA published the decision entitled ‘Review of GO plc’s application for funding of the net cost claimed to have been incurred to provide universal service obligations during 2010’, including an analysis on the final assessment of the calculated cost and audited results in relation to this claim amounting to €359,967. 

Following a public consultation the MCA is hereby publishing the decision ‘Source of Funding for the net cost incurred in providing universal service obligation during 2010’ confirming that the Government shall be financing the claim from public funds.
