The MCA carried out its third eCommerce survey with the aim of obtaining an indication of the level of internet and eCommerce usage accross the Maltese islands and to gauge the sector's potential for growth.
This quantitative survey was conducted by means of telephone interviews and collected information about the types of products that are purchased online, the frequency of eCommerce transactions and online expenditure. The survey also looked into consumer perceptions regarding security issues and problems encountered online.
