The myHealth portal is a useful and centralised tool for accessing individual health information, meant to compliment personal health care management. Having teamed up with the Ministry for Health and MITA, the MCA will be offering training sessions for the public. The training will consist of a one-time session aimed at demonstrating the benefits of using the myHealth portal. Participants will learn, in a very practical manner, how they can maximise the use of the portal by accessing its various sections.

Available in both English and Maltese and accessed through the eID, this interactive portal offers a number of functionalities ranging from discharge case summaries once admitted and stayed in a state hospital for at least one night to upcoming appointments as well as POYC entitlement, Vaccination records, Laboratory Results and Medical Imaging Reports. From their personal profiles, patients can link with doctors, appoint trusted representatives and choose to be notified via email and/or SMS messages. The portal offers also the service of a pharmacy finder, with location-based services. Accessible even via mobile/tablet, this simple and very user friendly portal will allow both patients and medical professionals faster and easier access to personal medical records.

In a joint effort with the other stakeholders MCA strives to facilitate eInclusion by promoting and encouraging the usage of this portal by a wider audience. Anyone wishing to explore this possibility is invited to attend these training sessions which are free of charge and will be delivered by a number of professional tutors in selected local councils and CTLC’s around the island.
